U.S. Army Pfc. Amanda Wright, a supply specialist with the Pennsylvania National Guard, fires from the seated position during the 60th Interservice Rifle Championship on Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, June 23, 2021. Wright, a native of Erie, Pennsylvania, said she has enjoyed shooting ever since she was young, and appreciated the opportunity to compete among the other services. The matches began in 1960 to promote the Competition-In-Arms Program, which was established in 1901 to encourage interest and improvement in marksmanship by refining skills through advanced marksmanship training and competition.
