Jackson Kolb (left), a native of West Palm Beach, Florida, was nominated for the Service Person of the Quarter award for more than 20 hours of volunteer service for Habitat for Humanity through the Single Marine Program and for volunteering at local elementary schools for back to school preparation. Huber is the commanding officer of MCAS Cherry Point. Kolb is a digital wide band system maintainer assigned to Marine Wing Communication Squadron 28, which is a subordinate unit of 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing. 2nd MAW is the aviation combat element of II Marine Expeditionary Force.
