U.S. Air Force Senior Airmen Richard Bong (left) and Anthony Seretis, military working dog handlers assigned to the 39th Security Forces Squadron, transport a simulated K-9 casualty to a treatment location during a joint training mission at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey, June 28, 2021. The MWD teams executed a series of K-9 specific tasks required for real-world operations. This marked the first time MWD handlers at Incirlik AB partnered with U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk crews for interservice training, which enabled them to acclimate their K-9s to helicopter operations under combat conditions.
