Domonique Hittner, a Brandon, Fla., native, now a fire directions officer, both with A Battery, 1st Battalion, 377th Field Artillery Regiment, 17th Fires Brigade, as she gets ready to connect an M777 155 mm howitzer cannon to a CH-47 Chinook helicopter as part of sling load operations training during Operation Rising Thunder at Yakima Training Center here, Sept. 18, 2012. Soldiers with 17th FiB are participating in Operation Rising Thunder to hone their war fighting skills and strengthen their partnership with other units and international allies.
