Brazilian Marine Corps (BMC) Cmdr. Gustavo Soares Gomes with BMC Headquarters is assisted by a U.S. Soldier with 3rd Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group before parachute training during Tradewinds 2021, Air Station London, Co-operative Republic of Guyana, June 20. U.S. Special Forces assets hosted parachute training for personnel with the Guyana Defence Force, BMC, Belize Coast Guard, and other participating allied representatives. Tradewinds 2021 is a U.S. Southern Command sponsored Caribbean security-focused exercise in the ground, air, sea, and cyber domains, working with partner nations to conduct joint, combined, and interagency training focused on increasing regional cooperation and stability.
