Members of the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) observe joint parachute operations during Tradewinds 2021, Air Station London, Co-operative Republic of Guyana, June 20. Florida Army National Guard’s Florida Army National Guard’s Bravo Company, 1st Assault Helicopter Battalion, 185th Aviation Brigade provided aerial support to 3rd Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group as they hosted parachute training for personnel with the GDF, Belize Coast Guard, Brazilian Marine Corps, and other participating allied representatives. Tradewinds 2021 is a U.S. Southern Command sponsored Caribbean security-focused exercise in the ground, air, sea, and cyber domains, working with partner nations to conduct joint, combined, and interagency training focused on increasing regional cooperation and stability.
