Sloan Cox, an intermediate force capabilities instructor with the Joint Intermediate Force Capabilities Office (JIFCO), observes members of the Guyana Police Force as part of non-lethal tactics training during Tradewinds 2021, Camp Seweyo, Guyana, June 19. JIFCO representatives were joined by U.S. Soldiers from Florida Army National Guard (FLARNG) Infantry Security Forces Assistance Brigade (SFAB) as they conducted a non-lethal weapons tactic range for members of the Guyana Police Force. Tradewinds 2021 is a U.S. Southern Command sponsored Caribbean security-focused exercise in the ground, air, sea, and cyber domains, working with partner nations to conduct joint, combined, and interagency training focused on increasing regional cooperation and stability.
