U.S. Ambassador to the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, Sarah-Ann Lynch poses for a group photo with U.S. and Guyana personnel during Tradewinds 2021, Camp Stephenson, Guyana, June 18. Ambassador Lynch visited Tradewinds sites to interact with international troops on the ground and observe active training events. Special Forces representatives were joined by Florida guardsmen from the 2-54 Security Force Assistance Brigade as they conducted rifle training with the Guyana Police Force. Tradewinds 2021 is a U.S. Southern Command sponsored Caribbean security-focused exercise in the ground, air, sea, and cyber domains, working with partner nations to conduct joint, combined and interagency training, focused on increasing regional cooperation and stability.
