Ambassador Lynch visited Tradewinds sites to interact with international troops on the ground and observe active training events. Special Forces representatives were joined by Florida guardsmen from the 2-54 Security Force Assistance Brigade as they conducted rifle training with the Guyana Police Force. Tradewinds 2021 is a U.S. Southern Command sponsored Caribbean security-focused exercise in the ground, air, sea, and cyber domains, working with partner nations to conduct joint, combined and interagency training, focused on increasing regional cooperation and stability.
