DIEGO GARCIA, British Indian Ocean Territory (June 17, 2021) – Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Felix Azunie, a pharmacy technician assigned to the Navy Medicine Readiness Training Unit Diego Garcia, along with Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Charity Williams, assigned to the Navy Medicine Readiness Training Unit Diego Garcia, cut the cake during a celebration of the 123rd birthday of the Hospital Corpsman June 17, 2021. Hospital Corpsman perform duties as assistants in the prevention and treatment of disease and injury and assist health care professionals in providing medical care to Navy and Marine Corps personnel of the operational forces, shore activities and other authorized beneficiaries.
