U.S. Marine Corps Col. Douglas DeWolfe, relinquishes command of Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 12 to Col. Derek Brannon during a change of command ceremony at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, Jun. 17, 2021. MAG-12 is the tactical arm of 1st Marine Aircraft Wing. The mission of MAG-12 is to conduct air operations in support of Fleet Marine Forces, to include: close air support, aerial refueling, anti-air warfare, and assault support from advanced, expeditionary or sea bases.
