Military and civilian leaders from the emergency manager and first responder organizations participating in the PATRIOT 21 exercise located at Volk Field Air National Guard Base, Wisconsin recieve a briefing from the 224th Joint Communications Support Squadron that discussed the types of communication capabilities they have provided to their customers during the exercise on June 16, 2021. PATRIOT 21 is a training exercise designed for military members to work alongside civilian emergency management and first responders in the same manner they would during a natural disaster so that in the case of a real-world disaster all agencies can maximize their response efforts, provide necessary resources to the communities affected and save more lives.
