Lt. Col. Evan Hessel, commander of the 102 CERFP, congratulates his Guardsmen for being the first CERFP unit to succesfully prepare for an ExEval since the global COVID-19 lockdown began last year. An ExEval is an inspection conducted by the Joint Interagency Training and Education Center every two years, and is designed to measure the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive (CBRNE) Enhanced Response Force Package (CERFP) team’s ability to respond to a natural or human caused disaster.
