On June 3, members of the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries & Wildlife worked together to transfer three baby Peregrine Falcons from Westover to the UMass Lowell campus, where they will be monitored by a state wildlife biologist until they no longer require supervision.
Over the past 5 years, Peregrine Falcons have been using the ISO-dock building at Westover as a nesting area.
For the birds' safety, as well as public safety, the falcon chicks are removed after they are hatched.
