200607-N-WG584-1006 SANTA RITA, Guam (Jun. 7, 2021) Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 11 Det. Guam operate a 40T HTC8640SL Link-Belt Cat 1 crane while assembling an Eagle Crusher for an operational test. Rock crushing operations enable Naval Construction Force units to independently produce aggregate in order to perform Airfield Damage Repair and Port Damage Repair to enhance fleet maneuverability. NMCB 11 Det. Guam is forward-deployed to execute construction, humanitarian assistance, and theater security cooperation in the U.S. 7th Fleet areas of operation.
