A UH-60 Blackhawk kicks up dust as Staff Sgt. Kyle Sanders with Golf Company, 1-189th Aviation Regiment, Oregon Army National Guard performs a safety check on his communications equipment prior to conducting the hot-load portion of MedEvac training at Fort Hunter Liggett, Calf. June 7, 2021. During a hot-load exercise, pilots perform the pre-flight safety checks and ensure that the blades are running while the aircraft remains stationary throughout the loading of casualties to simulate a combat environment.
