The 82nd Sustainment Brigade commander and Massena, N.Y., native, Col. Chris Sharpsten, provides comments during a patch ceremony Sept. 14. The brigade assumed control of the battalion Sept. 14 at Fort Lee, Va. The battalion was previously assigned to the 49th Quartermaster Group, which was inactivated in a preceding ceremony.
