Recipients of the 30 scholarships stands with Col. Mikel R. Huber, the Commanding Officer of Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point, and hosts during the scholarship and assistance award program at MCAS Cherry Point, North Carolina June 3, 2021. The scholarships are fully merit based awards. Applicants were evaluated on GPA, resumes show casing volunteer work in their community and leadership qualities, as well as essays submitted by the applicants expanding on their experiences with resiliency and adapting to the pandemic impacted school year.
