A restored stream named Sandy Branch-Tributary Two, runs off and provides filtered water for the Neuse River at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, May 17, 2021. The stream aides in reducing the amount of contaminants polluting the river. The Neuse River has been enduring devastating conditions for more than 40 years from man-made contaminants, pollution and animal waste.
