210517-N-UR857-180 PACIFIC OCEAN (May 17, 2021) Chief Damage Controlman Christopher Tornay refuels an MH-60S Seahawk, assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat (HSC) Squadron 23, on the flight deck of Independence-variant class littoral combat ship USS Omaha (LCS 12), May 17. Omaha is underway as part of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) conducting integrated training with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) off the coast of southern California.
