210517-N-UR857-396 PACIFIC OCEAN (May 17, 2021) A Sailor aboard Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Omaha (LCS 12) prepares to direct an MH-60S Seahawk, assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat (HSC) Squadron 23, during flight quarters, May 17. Omaha is underway as part of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) conducting integrated training with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) off the coast of southern California.
