A military instructor or officer stands before a large group of uniformed recruits or sailors seated on bleachers in what appears to be a large indoor facility. All personnel are wearing face masks, suggesting this was taken during the COVID-19 pandemic period. The setting resembles a temporary barracks or processing facility with visible bunk bed frames and white curtain dividers in the background.

Hospital Corpsman 2nd Caine Collins instructs recruits on the importance of their COVID vaccination card before receiving their COVID 19 vaccination in Pacific Fleet Drill Hall at Recruit Training Command (RTC). Recruits at RTC are now eligible to volunteer for the shots allowing them to leave boot camp fully vaccinated. Medical staff from the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center and commands in the surrounding Great Lakes area work together to facilitate the evolution. More than 40,000 recruits train annually from the Navy's only boot camp.
