210524-N-JW440-5012 PHILIPPINE SEA (May 24, 2021) Damage Controlman 3rd Class Grant Woods, from Maddison, Wi., and Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Julio Trujillo, from Orlando, Fla., use a wet bulb globe thermometer (WBGT) to survey heat stress conditions inside the main engine room of the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Shiloh (CG 67). Heat stress safety surveys are required for assessing permitted watch standing lengths for Sailors inside high heat injury prone spaces. Shiloh is attached to Commander, Task Force 70/Carrier Strike Group 5 conducting underway operations in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
