U.S. Army photo by Spc. Jorge Colon. 8th Medical Company (Logistics) managed the contingency and PPE stock for U.S. Army Europe and Africa in support of DEFENDER-Europe 21. More than six months of planning went in to managing and maintaining Class VIII materials for the European theatre. Each isolation facility received multiple tri-walls of Class VIII supplies to enable surveillance testing, contain the COVID-19 threat, and facilitate the maneuver units’ training.
