210524-N-EU544-464 PACIFIC OCEAN (May 24, 2021) An MH-60S Seahawk, assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat (HSC) Squadron 23, takes flight during visit, board, search, and seizure (VBSS) exercises while underway with Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Omaha (LCS 12), May 24. Omaha is underway as part of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) conducting integrated training with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) off the coast of southern California.
