CAMP LEMONNIER, Djibouti (May 23, 2021) U.S. Navy Chief Information System Technician Angelita Crume, of Las Vegas, passes a box of chocolates to Chief Personnel Specialist Ben Garas, of Queens, N.Y. as they empty pallets of food and toiletries donated by Operation Gratitude outside the fire station at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, on May 23, 2021. U.S. troops stationed at Camp Lemonnier assembled over 3,500 care packages made up of 5,700 lbs. of snack food and personal hygiene items donated by Operation Gratitude. American Red Cross assisted in the delivery and follow-up support on camp. Friends of Africa supported by providing lunch and Military Autosource donated beverages.
