SAN DIEGO (May 18, 2021) Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) San Diego chief petty officers confer with each other during an all-hands call with the Chiefs Mess held by Capt. Kim Davis, NMRTC San Diego's prospective commanding officer, in the hospital's auditorium May 18. The all-hands call was held to allow NMRTC San Diego chief petty officers to voice their expectations for Davis as a commanding officer, as well as reiterate expectations within the Chiefs Mess. Davis is scheduled to take command of NMRTC San Diego May 26. NMRTC San Diego’s mission is to prepare service members to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver high quality healthcare services and shape the future of military medicine through education, training and research. NMRTC San Diego employs more than 6,000 active duty military personnel, civilians, and contractors in Southern California to provide patients with world-class care anytime, anywhere.
