Serbian Ambassador to the U.S. Marko Djuric (center) and a contingent of Serbian Armed Forces chaplains tour the Ohio Statehouse May 14, 2021, in Columbus, Ohio. Djuric was in Ohio to participate in a Memorandum of Understanding signing among the Ohio Department of Higher Education, Ohio Department of Education and Serbia’s Ministry of Education to pledge continued cooperation at the primary, secondary and higher education levels. Ohio and Serbia have been conducting official exchanges since 2006 as part of the Department of Defense State Partnership Program.
