Tech. Sgt. Susanna Gyger and Staff Sgt Rebecca Kremer-Johnson put the finishing touches on a Hawaiian-themed water station during the U.S. Air Force Marathon at the Transit Center at Manas, Kyrgyzsatan, Sept. 15, 2012. Over 150 runners took part in one of three categories; 10K, half marathon and a 26.2 mile full marathon. Gyger is a 376th Air Expeditionary Wing chaplain assistant deployed from Pennsylvania Air National Guard and a native of Hummelstown, Pa. Kremer-Johnson is a 376th Air Expeditionary Wing budget accounting technician deployed from Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark. Deployed locations like the Transit Center are known for hosting the Air Force Marathon to help build morale and promoting fitness among participants.
