Lance Cpl. Jesse R. Siqueiros speaks with Sgt. 1st Class Koji Sato during Exercise Forest Light 12-01 at the Hijudai Maneuver Area, Oita, Japan, Aug. 24. They discussed the fundamentals of shooting to ensure their next shots would be more accurate then the last. Forest Light is a series of bilateral training exercise with the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force designed to enhance military partnership, strengthen regional security agreements, and improve individual and unit-level skills in a bilateral environment. Siqueiros is a rifleman with the Scout Sniper Platoon, Headquarters and Service Company, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
