U.S. Army Soldiers deployed to the Middle East in support of Operation Spartan Shield pray for their Nation on National Day of Prayer at the Joint Training Center-Jordan, May 6, 2021. The 130th Field Artillery Brigade Chaplain, Maj. Jeremy Bower from McPherson, Kansas, led the prayer, praying for the leadership of the United States, local, state and federal governments, and the military. Task Force Spartan Soldiers celebrated their religious diversity, one of the freedoms they fight to protect. Events like this have proven to increase Soldier’s resiliency and esprit de corps.
