A UH-60L Blackhawk helicopter piloted by Soldiers of the 4th Combat Aviation Brigade, Ft. Carson, Col., departs Muscatatuck Urban Training Center May 1 as part of Guardian Response 21, a multi-component Homeland Emergency Response Enterprise run by the Army Reserve’s 78th Training Division. The scenario involved the transportation of 150 mock casualties who experienced a worst-case scenario nuclear event in a large U.S. city. Capt. Robert Williams, 4th CAB, said the training is also valuable when responding to a hurricane landing, floods, tornados or other natural disasters in order to provide a relief element to individuals affected on the ground.
