U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Najera is part of a group of Soldiers assigned to the 2SFAB that are supporting the vaccination efforts in Milwaukee. Najera’s main responsibility is to help register community members looking to get their shot and direct them to where they need to go. This is the first COVID-19 support mission Najera has been a part of. “This mission has been a good experience,” said Najera. “I love that we are helping this community by giving them their shots.” U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing continued, flexible Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency as part of the whole-of-government response to COVID-19.
