Tadeusz Kościuszko honor guard stand at the base of the Polish generals monument during a wreath-laying ceremony that honors the Kościuszko in Chicago, Illinois, May 2, 2021. Kościuszko was a Polish hero of the American Revolution. As an engineer, Kościuszko built fortifications that protected West Point, Philadelphia, and Saratoga.
