PACIFIC OCEAN (March 21, 2021) A U.S. Marine with Battalion Landing Team 1/1, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, adjusts sights on a .50-caliber machine gun during a simulated freedom of navigation operation aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), March 21. U.S. Navy and Marine Corps integration training provides the Essex Amphibious Ready Group/11th MEU its first opportunity to plan, brief, execute multiple mission packages.
