David Ziegler, company commander of Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron (MSRON) 11 Alpha Company, receives his rank insignia from Elizabeth M. Ziegler, his mother and witness by his father, retired Lt. Cmdr. Philip E. Ziegler, an alumnus of Class of 1966 of United States Naval Academy, during his promotion to the rank of Captain during a brief ceremony held onboard Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach. The Maritime Expeditionary Security Force is a core Navy capability that provides port and harbor security, high value asset security, and maritime security in the coastal and inland waterways.
