Herlihy’s main responsibility is administering the COVID-19 vaccination to the public. “Being a part of the Security Force Assistance Brigade we are usually tasked with helping our foreign partners,” Herlihy said. “So it’s nice to be in a position to give back to the people that support us.” U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing continued, flexible Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency as part of the whole-of-government response to COVID-19.
