PACIFIC OCEAN (April 18, 2021) U.S. Marines with Alpha Company, Battalion Landing Team 1/1, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, board a CH-53E Super Stallion while conducting helicopter offload drills aboard amphibious transport dock ship USS Portland (LPD 27), April 18. The Marines and Sailors of the 11th MEU are conducting routine operations with the Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG). Portland is underway as part of the Essex ARG in U.S. Third Fleet.
