Naval Support Activity (NSA) Naples firefighters extract a simulated patient from a training vehicle during an emergency medical services joint training evolution onboard NSA Naples’ Support Site, Feb. 23, 2021. The training, coordinated between NSA Naples Fire Department and U.S. Naval Hospital Naples, familiarizes participants with the procedures of their counterparts and fosters unit cohesion for real-world emergencies. NSA Naples is an operational ashore base that enables U.S., allied, and partner nation forces to be where they are needed, when they are needed to ensure security and stability in Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia.
