Gunner's Mate 2nd Class Lucas Knighten assigned to the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40) paints a border on a wall inside the James L. Gordon Hospital. Frank Cable sailors and civil service mariners spent the day working with members of the hospital staff to paint rooms throughout the hospital. Frank Cable conducts maintenance and support of submarines and surface vessels deployed in the U.S. 7th area of responsibility.
