    210414-N-ME396-1066 GROTON, Conn. (April 14, 2021) Deputy Director of the Naval History and Heritage Command Pat Burns pins Cmdr. Bradley Boyd with the Meritorious Service Medal aboard HS Nautilus (SSN 571). During his time serving as officer-in-charge of Nautilus, Boyd Drove development of the maintenance standard ensuring Nautilus can remain waterborne 60 years longer, saving $90 million in taxpayer money. The officer-in-charge of Nautilus is also curator of the Submarine Force Library and Museum and the only active duty Sailor to hold such a position.
