U.S. Army Pfc. Ebony Werts, 678th Air Defense Artillery Brigade human resources specialist, South Carolina National Guard, provides traffic management support during a mass COVID-19 vaccination event with partners from the South Carolina Health Department, Emergency Management Division and Department of Administration, along with Richland County Emergency Services and the Federal Emergency Management Agency at the Columbia Place Mall, Columbia, South Carolina, April 14, 2021. This federal and state-operated event will provide up to 1,000 COVID-19 vaccinations a day, seven days a week for the next eight weeks. The South Carolina National Guard remains ready to support the counties, local and state agencies and first responders with requested resources for as long as needed in support of COVID-19 response efforts in the state.
