Ryan Harvey, Fort McCoy Garrison Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) victim advocate, opens a special event April 14, 2021, for Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month in building 60 at Fort McCoy, Wis. The event featured SHARP training and a presentation about sexual assault prevention by Obbie West. West, chief executive officer of Words of West LLC, shared his experiences and advice. West is an "unapologetic" spoken words artist, entrepreneur, and military veteran who is an avid sexual violence and prevention advocate and is committed to promoting awareness through training and education.
