U.S. Army Soldiers with the 36th Infantry Division, Texas Army National Guard, gather to promote Spc. Rashad Salaam and Spc. Roxanne Mendoza to the rank of sergeant at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, April 4, 2021. With this promotion the two soldiers joined the backbone of the Army, the non-commissioned officer corps.
