Soldiers of the 147th Finance Company, 347th Regional Support Group from Roseville, Minn. say good-bye to family and friends prior to getting on the bus for a yearlong deployment to Afghanistan.
"The unit is scheduled to depart in early September," said Army 1st Lt. Joseph Stuber, unit movement officer for the 147th Finance Company. "We will train at Fort Dix, N.J., for a couple of months and then continue to Afghanistan. We will provide financial management support during our deployment."
