Cadets gathered at Michie Stadium March 30 to participate in the Honorable Living Day event where they learned to develop skills that can assist and help them with potential negative stressors and move toward individual and organizational goals at West Point. During the event, Superintendent Lt. Gen. Darryl A. Williams, along with other senior leaders and members of a panel, including Department of Physical Education Director Col. Nicholas Gist (shown) and Military and Family Life Counseling Program Director Dr. Priya Mittal, spoke to cadets about the facts and myths regarding behavioral health and how it can impact a cadet’s future military service. Cadets gave their personal testimonials that addressed issues such as suicide, sexual assault and sexual orientation discrimination among other pressing issues.
