In honor of the 128th birthday of U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officers, the Naval Medical Forces Pacific Commander Rear Adm. Tim Weber (right), Command Master Chief Sean Howe (left), Chief Hospital Corpsman Brandon Andriot (second from left) and Chief Hospital Corpsman Charles Mahan (second from right) mark the day with a cake cutting ceremony, April 1. Andriot was the youngest chief present and Mahan the oldest. NMFP's chief petty officers gathered to celebrate their birthday at regional headquarters. Since their official establishment in 1893, chief petty officers in the U.S. Navy have been recognized for their technical expertise, leadership abilities, and advocates for their Sailors.
