An Airman from the 319th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron nondestructive inspection team scans the wing of an RQ-4 Global Hawk with a mobile automated scanner on Grand Forks Air Force Base, N.D., March 25, 2021. The MAUS uses water and sound waves to create a detailed image of the interior composite of the wing, allowing maintenance technicians to find potential issues without deconstructing the aircraft.
