U.S. Army Cpl. Tydeus Crouse, native of Brooklyn, Michigan, and combat medic with 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), administers a vaccine at the Wolstein Community Vaccination Center in Cleveland March 28, 2021. As a University of Michigan fan, Crouse doesn’t let the fact that he is in Ohio stop him from doing the best he can. “Even though a majority of the community members are Ohio State fans, it feels really good giving back to the community so we can start moving past this pandemic,” he said. Crouse decided to join the Army after high school continuing the family tradition. “My dad was a mortar infantryman and my mom worked with signal support systems,” he said. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North remains committed to providing continued, flexible Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency as part of the whole-of-government response to COVID-19.
