633rd Civil Engineer Squadron Emblem: Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. Lightning bolts represent the traditional symbol of Air Force might and tie the Squadron emblem to the 633rd Air Base Wing emblem. The globe represents both the global reach of the Squadron mission and the global locations in which the Squadron has served. The trisecting hammer, shovel, and fire axe are representative of the tools used by 633 Engineers in completion of their duties. The shovel and hammer represent the Squadron’s horizontal and vertical construction capability while the fire axe represents the Squadron’s emergency services capabilities. (633rd ABW/HO Archive)
