John Merrick, a medic of the California Army National Guard’s 870th Military Police Company, Joint Task Force 115, concentrates while applying a COVID-19 vaccination to a Tehama County, California, resident March 26, 2021 at the Community and Senior Center in Red Bluff. Merrick and his Vaccine Support Team (VST) 10 circulates throughout Northern California administering vaccines to residents, most of whom are elderly, who cannot make long journeys to vaccination sites.
